Low tack tape
From Craft Wiki
There are different types of tape with different purposes. In card making, it can be useful to have a tape that is low tack.
Examples of low tack tape are washi tape, sensitive painters tape, 'purple tape' (a product by Therm O Web) …
Low tack tape can be used:
- to keep things temporarily in place (such as dies, stencils, paper …)
- as masking tape (as is, or after die cutting a shape into it)
- to clean up little bits of glitter or paper
- to stick to your fingers to prevent fingerprints from showing up on an ink blended background
If your tape is still too strong for what you're trying to use it for, tape it to your clothes first. This will result in some fibers of your clothes sticking to the tape and thus lowering the stickiness of the tape.
Low tack tape can be reused as long as it sticks enough for the purpose you need it for.
Some kind of low tack tapes are non-porous and can be wiped clean when used with ink.
