Pigment powder, or mica powder, is a colored (often pearlescent) powder.
The powder can be used to:
- Color mediums like embossing paste, gilding wax, acrylic paint …
- Paint with water (although you might have to use a binding a binder medium like gum arabic to prevent the powder from rubbing off)
- Create a shimmery effect on cardstock, either by applying it straight to the paper or to an area that has embossing ink applied (with a foam blending tool, by stamping an image with the embossing ink, by drawing with an embossing ink pen …)
