Positioning stamps with acetate and a stamping tool
From Craft Wiki
By using a stamping tool and a piece of acetate, you can get the perfect positioning with clear or cling stamps every time.
- Lay down your piece of paper into your stamping tool (but not in the corner since you want some room to move the piece of paper)
- Lay a piece of acetate over your piece of paper and tape it onto your tool on one side (away from your paper)
- Position the stamp onto the piece of acetate, more or less where you want the image to be on the paper below
- Pick up your stamp with the lid of your stamping tool
- Stamp the image onto the acetate
- Without moving the acetate, shift your paper under the acetate until it's in the perfect spot
- Without moving the paper, remove the acetate
- Stamp again, this time onto the paper
