Clear stamps can be made either from photopolymer or silicone and have a number of benefits (versus wood mounted or unmounted rubber stamps):

  • clear stamps are thin and therefore need less space to be stored
  • because they are see-through, it's easier to position clear stamps onto your project

Clear stamps cling to anything that's smooth, such as glass, acrylic, smooth hard plastic … Most often, these stamps are used with acrylic stamping blocks (available in a number of sizes and thicknesses) or with a stamping platform or stamping tool.
