By using a stamping tool and a piece of acetate, you can get the perfect positioning with clear or cling stamps every time.

  1. Lay down your piece of paper into your stamping tool (but not in the corner since you want some room to move the piece of paper)
  2. Lay a piece of acetate over your piece of paper and tape it onto your tool on one side (away from your paper)
  3. Position the stamp onto the piece of acetate, more or less where you want the image to be on the paper below
  4. Pick up your stamp with the lid of your stamping tool
  5. Stamp the image onto the acetate
  6. Without moving the acetate, shift your paper under the acetate until it's in the perfect spot
  7. Without moving the paper, remove the acetate
  8. Stamp again, this time onto the paper
