Hi, I'm Ellen Govaerts and the owner of Craft-Wiki. I'm 37 years old and living in Belgium, the country of beer, waffles, and chocolate.

I have been crafting since I was about 10 years old or so, and never really stopped. When I started a webshop in 2016, I learned even more about new products and how to use them. After three years of running my shop, I realized that the most fun part for me was keeping up with new products, testing them out, figuring out how to get the most out of them, and putting all of that information on my webshop for my customers (and visitors).

Now that my webshop has closed (due to a lack of free time, since I ran the shop as a side business next to my full-time job), my free time will again go to this lovely hobby. And to this new project, Craft Wiki: a website that aims to list the most commonly used products, materials, terminology, … in the paper crafting world.

The information that is found on this website is taken from the products themselves, the websites of the manufacturers, or the personal experience of trusted sources or myself.

I try to stay as objective as possible, but if you feel like the information about your products is not correct or not complete, feel free to reach out by sending an email to me at hello [at] craft-wiki.com.

The goal of this website is to have an overview of all the types of products that are out there, how to use them, how to combine them with other products, what brands or specific products are of good quality and give good results etc. If you feel like your product(s) are missing from this website, feel free to reach out by sending an email to me at hello [at] craft-wiki.com. I will only list your products if I know (by using them myself or by having seen them used by a trusted source) they are of good quality and they are different enough to distinguish them from other products from the same category. You are, however, free to send products my way for me to test so I can add them to the website if I feel they're good and/or unique enough.

As a last note: I'm running this website by myself. This of course also means that the cost of the hosting and the time I spend keeping this website updated is all on me. Although I don't mind, I am always happy to receive donations to buy myself some more craft fuel. ;)
